This 80-minute video contains practical advice on Addressing Clients, Proper Attire, Avoiding Stereotyping, Avoiding Steering, Qualifying the Buyer, Negotiating the Contract and Much More.

 

The video is divided into sections approximately 15 minutes long can be shown in its entirety or in sections.  Although it contains a great deal of content, the video is probably best used as a supplement to discussions during GRI, CIPS, and At Home with Diversity courses or sales meetings.  A section can be shown in the beginning of an educational setting to initiate discussion and at the end of a discussion to reinforce concepts.

Well-known experts Cesar (The Americas), Dr. Nathan Booth (Africa and the Middle East), Takashi Misawa (Asia-Pacific), and Manfred Chemek (Europe), discuss “Commonalities Found in Different Cultures” and then focus on regional cultural differences. 

 

The four cultural-content experts have lived and worked outside of the USA, have extensive backgrounds in real estate and multi-cultural education, and have been active in NAR’s international programs.

 
     

 

   Mr. Cesar Paredes is past president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) and currently serves as the AMPI International Relations and Reciprocal Director to NAR.  He is President of Global Commercial and Investment Real Estate Corporation de Mexico, Garza Garcia, Mexico.
     

  Dr. Nathan Booth, CIPS, is an instructor in NAR’s Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) program.  Dr. Booth, a REALTORÒ in Alexandria, Virginia, currently serves as the NAR Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe.
   

. Mr. Takashi Misawa, CIPS, has been serving as the NAR President’s Liaison to The Association of Real Estate Agents of Japan (FRK) for several years.  Mr. Misawa also has served as a CIPS instructor, and as a Regional Director to Asia-Pacific.  His firm, East Meets West International, is located in Beverly Hills, California
     

  Mr. Manfred Chemek, CCIM, CIPS, FIPC, RECS, received NAR’s CIPS Instructor of the Year Award in 1995.  He is President of Manhelm International, an international real estate investment and consulting firm in Houston, Texas, and in several countries
